Founder Maryam Rashidian Honored with the King Charles III Coronation Medal
The ICTC Youth Foundation is proud to announce that our founder, Maryam Rashidian, has been awarded the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal—a national honour recognizing individuals who have made exceptional contributions to their communities and to Canada.
This medal celebrates Maryam’s unwavering dedication to empowering youth, supporting newcomer families, and fostering inclusive, vibrant communities across Richmond Hill and beyond. Through more than 70 funded and volunteer-driven programs, Maryam’s vision has helped thousands of young people develop leadership skills, strengthen their well-being, and discover their potential.
“This award is a reflection of the incredible community that surrounds ICTC Youth Foundation,” Maryam shared. “I accept it on behalf of our volunteers, partners, and every young person whose courage and creativity inspire me every day.”
The ICTC Youth Foundation congratulates Maryam on this outstanding achievement and remains committed to carrying forward her mission of creating opportunities where youth and families can thrive.
